Biography

Doris Brophy joined Société Générale in 2016 as the Director of Data Governance & Standards for the Americas.  Prior to Société Générale, Doris had over 25 years in the Financial Services Industry on both the buy side and sell side.  Doris has an extensive Technology and Data Background. In her prior role at a large Asset Management organization, Doris served as Domain Executive for the Chief Data Office for the Business Products and Services Data Domain.  Doris has also held positions as CIO of a hedge fund, CIO of Debt Capital Markets at a large broker dealer and COO of Technology for Equity and Electronic Trading.  Doris began her career programming innovative market data solutions, complex options models, trading systems, and global networking solutions.  Doris was an early adopter and influencer of client server, SBA (Service Based Architecture) solutions, thin client, browser deployment and process re-engineering.

Doris Brophy earned her B.A. in Computer Science and Economics with a concentration in Mathematics from Hiram College.  She studied graduate Economics at Rutgers university and was a judge for the MIT Sloan School of Business CIO of the year award from 2009 through 2016.

Biography

Rick Aiere is a strategic solutions-focused executive and trusted C-level advisor, with over 25 years of experience in data management and data strategy. He is currently engaged in an initiative as a consultant advising on MDM and Data Governance for the Chief Data Officer at NYU where he is helping with implementation of authoritative data sourcing methodology. In addition, Rick provides data management advisory services to financial institutions with a focus on reference data management, AML and CCAR.  Prior to his current engagement, Rick has produced results for high-growth Fortune 500 companies such as AIG, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs.

Biography

Mark McQueen is the best practice and process management expert for the EDM Council. He joined the Council in 2016 and now leads the Best Practice Program to develop Data Management industry-standard processes for executing the DCAM™ Framework. In addition to Best Practice Program facilitation, he provides training and EDMC Advisory Services related to the adoption and execution of the DCAM™ Capability Framework in member organizations. Before joining the Council, Mark had over 20 years with a Fortune 25 GSIB, serving as the global Data Management Executive for the Wholesale Bank.

Mark is DCAM v2 Accredited & Certified Trainer, Six Sigma Black Belt Certified, and Strategic Foresight Certified - University of Houston.

Mark is Partner of Ortecha, a DCAM Authorized Partner data management consultancy with offices in the US and UK.
